AMSOIL Chain Lube (ACLSC) is a dedicated aerosol chain lubricant for motorcycle drive chains, ATV and UTV chains, bicycle chains, and industrial roller chains. The formula penetrates into pins and bushings, then sets up to a protective coating that resists fling-off and helps shield exposed chains from heat, water, and dirt.
Chain wear starts on the load-bearing surfaces buried inside each link, not on the side plates that catch most of any over-spray. AMSOIL Chain Lube penetrates deep into the pins and bushings of chains, putting active lubricant where pin-on-bushing rotation generates friction and where roller-on-sprocket impact drives wear into hardened steel. This feeding action is what separates a true penetrating chain lubricant from a thick external film that never reaches the load surfaces.
After application, Chain Lube leaves a protective coating that stays on the chain instead of spraying onto the swingarm, rear wheel, and bodywork at speed. The same film is engineered to resist holding dirt, dust, sand, and grit, which keeps abrasive particles from being driven into the pin and bushing interface. The result is consistent lubrication between service intervals and a cleaner chain run on the bike, ATV, or bicycle.

The aerosol valve sprays a focused stream that lands on the chain instead of fogging the garage. Application is direct: shake well, clean the chain before application, apply a steady stream along the full length of the chain, and allow to dry for 15 minutes. Fast-drying chemistry sets up to a coating in that window, which limits the dirt-attraction problem common to heavy oil-and-grease chain lubes.

I’ve been using this CL for a few years now and it does its job! Most importantly too me, it doesn’t sling oil all over my bikes like the other brands. Best Lube on the market!!

I use the chan lube on a roller chain on equipment as well as kids dirt bikes . It seems to lubricate fine but we notice it seems to hold dirt to a degree .
