AMSOIL Signature Series ULV ATF is engineered for current GM Dexron ULV and Ford Mercon ULV transmissions, the 8-, 9-, and 10-speed automatics in late-model Silverado, Sierra, F-150, F-250, F-350, Mustang, and many GM and Ford CUV applications. ULV (Ultra-Low Viscosity) fluids enable tighter clutch packs and improved fuel economy. Use only ULV in transmissions that call for it; substituting a heavier ATF voids warranty coverage and can cause shift quality problems.

How often should I change ATF?
For severe service (towing, hauling, stop-and-go), change every 50,000 miles with full synthetic ATF. For normal service, every 60,000 to 100,000 miles per the OEM-recommended interval. Sealed transmissions still benefit from a periodic drain and fill at the same intervals; the 'lifetime' label refers to the warranty term, not actual fluid life.
What does ULV mean?
ULV stands for Ultra-Low Viscosity. Modern 8-, 9-, and 10-speed automatic transmissions from GM, Ford, BMW, and ZF call for ULV fluids to enable tighter clutch packs and improve fuel economy. Use only the ULV-spec fluid the OEM calls for; substituting a heavier fluid voids warranty coverage and can cause shift quality problems.
Can I use AMSOIL ATF in a CVT?
