AMSOIL Quickshot Guide
AMSOIL Quickshot is a treat-at-fill gasoline additive built for ethanol-blended fuel in powersports and small engines. It suspends the water that ethanol pulls from humid air, cleans gummed injectors and carburetors, and prevents the phase separation that turns spring start-up into a carb-rebuild day. What AMSOIL Quickshot is for
Quickshot is engineered for the small, sensitive fuel systems on snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, jet skis, lawn mowers, snow blowers, generators, chainsaws, and string trimmers. Why ethanol-blended fuel needs Quickshot
Modern pump gasoline in the United States is almost always blended with ethanol (E10, sometimes E15). Ethanol absorbs water from humidity in the air. When the fuel sits in a tank for weeks or months between uses, the water can phase-separate from the gasoline, sink to the bottom of the tank, and corrode the fuel system. Ethanol also breaks down rubber and plastic fuel-system components in older engines.
Quickshot suspends the absorbed water in solution so it burns through the engine harmlessly instead of pooling at the tank bottom. It also breaks up the gum and varnish ethanol leaves behind in idle jets, jet pilot circuits, and injector tips. For a snowmobile or ATV that runs all winter and then sits all summer, that's the difference between a turn-key spring start and a frustrating shop visit.
Storage protocol with Quickshot

A full tank reduces airspace, which reduces the moisture available for ethanol to absorb during storage.
