The Coolant Testing Kit, UPS Pre-Paid (KIT09) is the AMSOIL Oil Analyzers kit dedicated to engine coolant samples. KIT09 can only be used for coolant; oil and other lubricants use the standard KIT01, KIT02, or KIT06 kits. The kit ships with a sample bottle, a sample form, instructions, and UPS pre-paid label included in the kit.

Coolant samples are heavier than oil samples and benefit from carrier shipping with tracking. The UPS pre-paid label removes the logistics step from the sender.

How to take and ship the sample

1. Run the equipment to bring the engine coolant to operating temperature.
2. Drain a representative sample from the radiator petcock or coolant recovery tank into the supplied container.
3. Cap and seal the sample container, label it with equipment, fluid, hours or mileage, and date.
4. Complete the included sample form with vehicle and lubricant details.
5. Place the container, the form, and any documentation in the supplied or sender-provided shipping packaging.
6. Ship to the lab address printed on the form. Reports are typically returned by email within several business days of lab receipt.

What is the difference between the standard kits and the value kit?
