The AMSOIL ATV/UTV Kits for Polaris Vehicles are single-package oil change kits sized for the most popular Polaris ATVs and UTVs. The lineup ships with AMSOIL 5W-50 Synthetic ATV/UTV Motor Oil and a Polaris-compatible cellulose oil filter that meets or exceeds Polaris OEM filter standards. Multiple kit sizes cover service capacities from 2 to 3 quarts depending on the application; the right kit for a particular machine is determined through the lookup result for the specific year and model.
Each kit includes the engine oil and one oil filter sized for the listed Polaris application. Kit contents by code:
AMSOIL 5W-50 Synthetic ATV/UTV Motor Oil is the heavy-duty synthetic engine oil recommended for Polaris ATV and UTV applications. The 5W cold-flow rating gives quick oil pressure on a cold start, and the 50-weight high-end keeps film strength under sustained load on RZR, Sportsman, and Ranger duty cycles where heat, mud, and high-rpm running can thin a lighter oil. The synthetic base is shear stable, so the in-grade viscosity holds across the service interval, including on shared-sump engine and transmission applications where Polaris specifies a single oil for both functions.
The included filter uses cellulose media and is built to meet or exceed Polaris OEM filter standards for the listed application. It ships with the kit so the rider does not have to source a separate filter or guess at OEM cross-references. The same filter is also stocked individually for service intervals between full kit-based oil changes.

The right kit depends on the model family and displacement. PK2 covers Sportsman 600, 700, 800 and RZR 570, 800. PK3 covers the Sportsman 300 through 1000 line. PK5 covers 2013 and newer RZR 900 and 1000. PK4 is the dedicated kit for RZR 1000 Turbo. The AMSOIL Vehicle Lookup Guide shows the exact kit for the specific year and model.
No. Using AMSOIL synthetic powersports lubricants and AMSOIL filters does not void the Polaris factory warranty. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prevents an OEM from voiding a warranty solely for using a non-OE part as long as it meets the OE specification. The included oil filter is built to meet or exceed Polaris OEM filter standards, and the AMSOIL 5W-50 Synthetic ATV/UTV Motor Oil meets Polaris performance requirements.
Polaris specifies a 5W-50 grade for most ATV and UTV applications because of the load profile and cooling system design across the Sportsman, RZR, and Ranger lines. Can-Am specifies a 5W-40 grade for most Maverick, Outlander, and Renegade engines. AMSOIL ships each kit with the grade the OEM calls for, which is why the Polaris kit (PK series) and Can-Am kit (CK series) carry different oils.
