AMSOIL Ford 6.7L Single-Remote Bypass System

BMK33 is the AMSOIL single-remote bypass system for the Ford 6.7L Power Stroke diesel (2011 and newer Super Duty pickups, F-450, F-550, and medium-duty F-650 and F-750 platforms). The kit ships with the engine-specific mounting head, fittings, hose, and instructions to plumb a single EABP90 element into the Power Stroke lubrication system.

The AMSOIL bypass system is the single-remote bypass system, mounting one EaBP element on a remote bracket. It works in parallel with the engine's full-flow oil filter to remove soot and particles down to two microns and larger, contaminants the standard full-flow filter cannot reach. Adding the system increases the total fluid capacity by approximately 1 quart, depending on the length of the installed hose and the distance between the engine and the mount.

What is in the kit

The fitting required to pull pressurized oil from the engine and the return fitting that drops oil back to the sump are typically included for vehicle-specific kits. How AMSOIL bypass filtration works

An AMSOIL bypass filter operates on a partial-flow basis, drawing less than ten percent of the engine's oil-pump output at any moment and routing it through a high-density filter element. Because the bypass element handles a small share of the flow, the media can be much denser than a full-flow filter, capturing soot, sludge, and small wear particles a full-flow filter passes. The cleaned oil returns to the sump, and over the course of an hour the bypass loop typically polishes all of the oil in the system several times.

The result is a continuously cleaner oil sump, slower additive consumption, slower viscosity rise, and reduced rates of bearing, ring, and turbocharger wear. When paired with AMSOIL synthetic motor oil and used-oil analysis, the system supports extended drain intervals well past the OEM-recommended schedule on most heavy-duty diesel and light-duty turbo-diesel pickup applications.

The mount is built from cast aluminum with a steel filter stud and finished in a marine powder-coated paint that resists road salt, debris, and engine compartment chemistry.
