The AMSOIL 1-7/8 inch ID x 0.10 Bypass O-Ring (BP347) is a replacement O-ring for the AMSOIL Bypass System lineup, sized 1-7/8 in. I.D. x 0.10 in. thick. It seals the bypass mounting head where it joins the housing or hose connection, and it ships as a single piece for service replacement when the bypass element is changed.
The BP347 O-ring is the matching service part for the BK301 mounting head used in the Universal Dual-Remote Bypass System (BMK23) and the Ford 7.3L Dual-Remote Bypass System (BMK26). The same part number covers any of the listed mounting heads regardless of the engine the system is installed on.
Replace the O-ring every time the bypass system is opened for service. Lightly coat the new O-ring with clean engine oil before installation, seat it in the matching groove without twisting, and tighten the mating components to the recommended torque. Reusing an O-ring after deformation usually causes a slow seep under operating pressure. The matching bypass element (AMSOIL EaBP series) and any related service hardware should be inspected at the same time so the system is returned to service with all sealing surfaces in known condition.
